Georgia Working Dog Rescue is a 501(c)3 dedicated to finding loving homes for working dog breeds and dogs not selected for federal working dog programs. These dogs often make exceptional family pets due to their unique combination of intelligence, loyalty, and versatility.

We strive to find the ideal household to meet the specific needs of all our dogs. Often, this means active households and preferably with someone who has experience working with these kinds of dogs.
Depending on the type of training required, graduating from federal training programs can be difficult. Some programs have graduation rates as low as 30%. This means that many wonderful dogs do not get selected for federal programs through no fault of their own.
